The purpose of Resource of the Month is to offer tools, share information, and develop the instructional strategies of both teachers and students. The Kappa Eta chapter would like to create discussions based on the topic of the month. This month we are focusing on the fantastic tool Edmodo. Edmodo is an educational website that takes the ideas of a social network and refines them and makes it appropriate for a classroom. It is a FREE resource that allows Student and teacher communication. There are safety nets in place to monitor conversations and prevent bullying or inappropriate content. Parents have access to see student's work, and teachers have access to post and grade assignments.
