KAPPA ETA HONORS AND AWARDS SYSTEM

 

Annual Award (All Members): Certificate of Achievement and 20% percent off Kappa Apparel- In order to earn this acknowledgement of one’s outstanding commitment to the chapter, chapter members will participate in three professional developments, two service events and one social event during the academic year.

 

Annual Award (All Members): Service Certificate plus free T-shirt- In order to earn this service award and a free T-shirt, chapter members must volunteer for four service events over the course of one academic year. 

 

Seniors ONLY: Member of Excellence Award and Honor Chords- In order to earn this prestigious award and honor chords, chapter members must participate in four professional development workshops, two service, and one social event in their last year of study. In addition, exceptional members may inquire into a Letter of Recommendation.

 

Graduate Students ONLY: Member of Excellence Award and Honor Chords- In order to earn this prestigious award and honor chords, chapter members must participate in two professional development workshops and one service or social event in their last year of study. In addition, exceptional members may inquire into a Letter of Recommendation.

 

 

 

***Attendance will be taken at all School Of Education events and participation will be noted by the Membership Chair. All awards will be granted at the end of the school year or at time of completion for the Kappa Apparel Discount ******
